A year ago this summer, Pateros and Methow Valley families and individuals were just starting to pick up the pieces after the Carlton Complex Fires had left thousands of acres and hundreds of homes burned. It was a devastating time for all of central Washington. Many fundraisers were held in an effort to aid the people who had lost so much. The community pulled together in a way that inspired me and many others. Sadly, the wildfires returned this summer. We have continued to see the community in central Washington withstand and rebuild through the hardest of times.
This single, Still Standing, is dedicated to all of our friends and families remembering, recovering and rebuilding. The song features Vicci Martinez, and was put together by an amazingly talented group of people. A big thank you to everyone who was involved. This one is for the Pateros and Methow Valley communities, who through it all, are still standing.
